| September 2000/ November 2002 LinguaFranca SA: Interpreter/ Translator (eng/Spanish/eng) for a software company in Santiago, Chile. Originally employed as an interpreter for client facing meetings I moved into the area of software translation, and technical writing. From the end of 2000 my work was done from a remote location (South Africa, Switzerland). In this position I acquired a keen interest for software and computer-related technologies and started teaching myself html, CSS, and learning about localization and CAT tools. Software and web localization projects in Chile and South Africa.
